Scrapbook Challenges

another project I've been working on lately is a scrapbook challenge with the Stampin Up team, the Butterfly Belles. Here are my offerings for last week and today. My photography needs sorting out so my apologies for the poor quality but I didnt want to wait before posting ...

Mothers' Day Gift

hi all,
I have really been busy lately and been trying to finish a load of projects and challenges that have been "in progress" - some for quite a while! I have finally finished my gift to my mum for mothers' day. She has 6 great grand-children (all of them are my grand-children) and I thought a lovely little envelope book to keep the most recent photos of her great grand-children handy; a granny's brag book.
I've made the envelopes using Stampin Up! designer series paper and the Stampin Up envelope punch board - really easy, quick and a lovely effect.
The names are cut using the Little Letters thinlits on my big shot and I am just loving the new Hello thinlits (the Happy) and the So You stampset for that word 'Smile' - both from the new seasonal catalogue.
I hope you like it...

Octonauts card

I have been really bad about keeping up with my blog posts but am now being encouraged to be more  proactive. So, here is the first post in the new life of my blog. One of my gorgeous grandsons is 5 today and is really really keen on the Octonauts. He wanted a Gup-X for his birthday (I didnt know what it was either) but having bought it I decided to make a matching card. I searched pinterest for inspiration and couldn't find anything so designed my own. Here is the finished card - all Stampin Up goodies of course, I am rather proud of it if I may say so lol. I hope you like it too.

Envelope Punch Board

Hi Crafters
Wow wow wow!  Even more goodies and I have to tell you that this tool is a real MUST HAVE item.  Already I have decided that I cannot do without it.  What is it you ask?  Well, it is a punch board that will help you to make envelopes in almost any size you desire.  It is just soooo simple to use.  You will be able to make envelopes to match your cards and we've all found so many other things you can do with it.  Check out Pinterest for ideas and I will post some here one of these days!

Back to the envelope punch board!  It comes with measurements in both imperial and metric; and has a handy scoring tool stored in the side; plus it has a lovely corner rounder punch - very handy.

It is small and lightweight and creates envelopes in 66 different sizes, though I bet you can make more than that.  I have already created some very tiny envelopes in sizes smaller than the smallest shown on the board.

This product is a cracking price, very good value for money and you can buy it from my online shop front.  Just click the link up at top left.

Christmas Tag It Bundles

Hi Crafters
More exciting product available from Stampin Up.  The Tag-it Bundles are available for the month of November only and include everything you need to make some cute little parcels.  See the link on the right.

You can choose from the Decorative box bundle, which includes 6 small boxes (with window), ribbon and a tag kit (tags, stamps and ink) or choose the extra large box bundle that has 3 large boxes (no window), with ribbon and the same tag kit.  These are really very useful for presenting gifts perhaps for teachers, colleagues, friends or family.

Don't delay, visit my shop front and order yours today.

New Flip Card Thinlets

Hi Crafters

Stampin' Up! are on a roll at the moment - celebrating their 25th year - and that means lots of exciting new product for us and discounted product.

The new flip card thinlets come in 2 varieties - circle or label - and they are both fab, very easy to use and actually very versatile.  You can use them to create flip cards; place cards; boxes and probably much more that we have still to find out about.  I will be posting pictures of my creations soon. We recommend the Sizzix Big Shot machine to use these dies but if you have an alternative machine just check with your manufacturer and they will help.
